Visiting the Express Care Walk-in Clinic:
- All patients presenting to the walk-in clinic will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and receive care as appropriate.
- If you are found to have COVID symptoms, you will be taken to a private patient room and given a COVID-19 test kit.
- Masks are required anyone inside the clinic.
- Please do not bring friends or family members to your appointment, unless deemed necessary for your care.

Brian Barstad, MD
Brian was raised in Northern Minnesota and attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. In 1994 he attended Medical School at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, internship at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center and was on Active Duty in the US Navy for 4 years (2 years Camp Lejeune, NC and 2 years Brunswick, ME Naval Air Station). Brian served his Family Medicine Residency at Fargo, ND for 2 years and worked as a Family Physician in Minnesota for 9 years and then in the ER and Urgent care in Montana for 3 years. He has worked for Lake Chelan Health hospital in the ER and as well as in Leavenworth, WA for 9 years and now part of the Express Care walk-in clinic team. Brian is a diehard Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins fan. He is married to his wife, Jennifer, who is an artist and they have four grown children. Chelan is their forever home, who would want to live anywhere else?
Dana Calek, FNP, ARNP,
Dana was born in Czech Republic, immigrated to Kitchener, ON and grew up in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. She obtained her LVN in 1984 and her RN in 1992 and received her BSN in Nursing in 2012 through Chamberlain University. She received her FNP, ARNP through Graceland University in Independence, MO in 2017. Dana has experience in Alzheimer and neuro rehab as well as with developmentally delayed adults in a community setting as well as significant nursing experience working on a medical surgical unit for 10 years. She also worked at Allchildren’s Hospital in pediatric Hematology Oncology, neurosurgical as well as the ER and helped to open Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch Florida. Dana is a strong patient advocate and loves serving the people of her community. Dana is a first-generation immigrant genuinely empathizes with people who have challenges with the English language.
