Lake Chelan Health Rehabilitation Department offers Occupational Therapy services for a wide range of life skill areas. Therapists work to help children, adults and seniors overcome challenges with functional daily tasks in both inpatient and outpatient settings including:

- Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing
- Self-care and Activities of Daily Living
- Adaptive Equipment
- Functional Mobility and Coordination
- Hand Therapy
The team works alongside families and caregivers to create a therapy plan that helps individuals return to daily functional activities such as work, school and social engagements.

Jim Szymanski, OTR/L
Jim has been with Lake Chelan Health Hospital for seventeen years as an occupational therapist, an EMS volunteer, a Sanctuary admissions coordinator, and most recently as an infection control coordinator. Jim earned his B.S. in Medical Science at the University of Nevada-Reno and completed the Certificate Program in Occupational Therapy at Loma Linda University. He has certification through NBCOT and is a member of AOTA. During his spare time, Jim can be found at the climbing gym, performing yoga, or digging up rocks in his yard.
