InBody Scan

We are excited to support your health.

The InBody Scale has been found to be 98% as accurate as a DEXA (Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) scan. One major benefit of the InBody Scale over a DEXA scan is that patients do not need to be subjected to any radiation.

SCAN TIPS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  3. Do not exercise for 6-12 hours before testing.
  4. Ensure access to both feet with removable footwear and socks.
  5. Do not drink caffeine on the day of your test and be well hydrated.
  6. Height, age and gender is required.

FAQ’s

What is body composition?

Body composition is a method of describing what the body is made of. It includes fat, protein, minerals, and body water. Body composition analysis can accurately show changes in fat mass, muscle mass, and body fat percentage. This can help validate services like personal training, patient care, corporate wellness programs, and other changes being made for individual health improvement.

How does the InBody work?

The InBody device uses a method called Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to measure body composition, which divide body weight into different components, such as lean body mass and fat mass, to assess your health and help guide interventions.
