DESCRIPTION:Join Lake Chelan Health (LCH) staff and community members as we celebrate the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new LCH EMS building! \nThis milestone comes during the 50th anniversary year of Lake Chelan EMS—a perfect time to honor our past while investing in the future. \nCurrently\, EMS operates out of a leased two-story modular building on the old hospital property\, which houses staff quarters\, offices\, training space\, and an ambulance garage. The new facility will provide much needed space and a permanent\, purpose-built home for our emergency responders\, office space\, staff and community training room\, and an ambulance garage. It is anticipated to be completed in late 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Lake Chelan Health EMS is hosting the Annual Kids Bike Rodeo in the Lake Chelan Health Hospital Parking Lot on Saturday August 17\, 2024.  This is an opportunity for kids to get free bike (wear when using a scooters also) helmets\, learn how to properly select and wear the helmet…wearing a loose helmet in the event of an accident may not protect from head injuries.  Kids will also be able to ride through a bike course focused on  learning how to ride on streets\, what to look for and using hand signals.   Bikes will be available but you may also bring your own bike.
