At Lake Chelan Health, the laboratory is an essential part of your total health care. The laboratory is staffed by highly educated and trained medical laboratory technicians and medical technologists. Services are available to patients at the hospital seven days a week. After-hours and emergency testing is available 24 hours a day by on-call personnel. Lab personnel work closely with other hospital providers to ensure well-coordinated, patient-centered care while you’re at the hospital.

We also offer outpatient laboratory services. Lab results are usually available within 24 hours and will be sent directly to your doctor. We work with local physicians, as well as doctors across the region and state. Our staff is routinely proficiency tested by the College of American Pathologists and are advised and monitored by pathologists from the Wenatchee Valley Clinic and the Department of Health.

REFERRED SPECIMENS
When a test is ordered that is not performed in our laboratory, the specimen will be collected and sent to one of the following reference laboratories:
